        2026 Crane Rope Examiners Course

Tensology are pleased to anounce the LEEA accredited Crane Rope Examiners Course dates for 2026.  The two day full course is available to book now.  Limited places are still available for the March course.

Dates for the TENSOLOGY Crane Rope Examiners course have been announced.  The course, aimed at people involved in the selection, use, inspection and examination of steel wire ropes, will run throughout the year.  There are two courses available; a full two day course for people either new to the industry or who are interested to increase their theoretical knowledge of wire ropes, and a one day refresher course (available upon request) to build upon previous knowledge and to update on current standards and the latest techniques.

The courses are based upon the information contained within the crane rope standard BS ISO 4309:2017 Cranes - Wire ropes - Care and maintenance, inspection and discard and include up to date information, including the use of Magnetic Rope Testing (MRT) as a tool to assist with rope examination.

Both of these courses are LEEA Accredited and are delivered by Ross Burrows whom has a wealth of knoweldge and experience with crane ropes along with a background of forensics and investigations of Wire Ropes.  Delegates will therefore benefit from comprehensive, up-to-date course content including the latest guidance from BS ISO 4309:2017 and Cranes - Wire ropes - Care and maintenance, inspection and discard.
